Christine Valters Paintner

Christine Valters Paintner, PhD is a Benedictine oblate living in the west of Ireland where she and her husband lead pilgrimages and writing retreats for Abbey of the Arts, a global virtual monastery cultivating contemplative practice and creative expression. She is the author of 14 books including Earth, Our Original Monastery: Cultivating Wonder and Gratitude through Intimacy with Nature (Ave Maria Press, April 2020) and her second collection of poems, The Wisdom of Wild Grace, will be published by Paraclete Press in fall 2020.
