Kaitlyn Airy was raised on a small island in the Salish Sea. She currently resides in Spokane, Washington where she interns for the Bagley Wright Lecture Series on Poetry. She is the winner of the 2020 Phyllis L. Ennes Contest and will be a featured poet at the next Skagit River Poetry Festival. She has work forthcoming in Crab Creek Review and elsewhere. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, hiking the many biomes of the Pacific Northwest, and making salads for her three bunnies.
