Luisa Muradyan
Originally from Odessa, Ukraine, Luisa Muradyan received her PhD in Poetry at the University of Houston. She is the author of American Radiance (University of Nebraska Press, 2018), winner of the 2017 Prairie Schooner Book Prize. She was the Editor-in-Chief of Gulf Coast: a Journal of Literature and Fine Arts from 2016-2018 and a member of the Cheburashka Collective, a community of women and non-binary writers whose identity has been shaped by immigration to the United States from the Soviet Union.
