Alexandria Barbera
Alexandria Barbera (she/her) lives in Ontario, Canada and served as the managing editor for EcoTheo Collective from 2018-2021. She recently completed her MA in Cultural Studies at Trent University, with a focus in literary ecology. Previously she studied theology at McMaster Divinity College, and her writing on religion has appeared in The Other Journal, Ekstasis Magazine, Women in Theology, and Amethyst Review. Her haiku have appeared in several prominent journals throughout Canada, Britain, and the Unites States, including Modern Haiku, Frogpond, Haiku Canada, Akitsu Quarterly, Presence, and elsewhere. She has been deeply affected by the natural beauty of the Niagara region and credits this as one reason for her commitment to nature and theological ecology.
